1)  Insert folded tripod into its compartment on front of case with the large round knobs facing away from the outside of your carry case.  This protects them from damage in transit should the case get bumped and also allows the zippers to close better.  Questions?  You can contact us at info@lightweightpodium.com.  In the event of a sudden impact, it's far better to let the steel take it--as opposed to plastic parts.                                            

2)  Prior to inserting desktop into large compartment in rear of case, loosen the tilt mechanism and turn it inward toward the desktop (as shown) to protect it during transit.  Then retighten, just slightly, so the inward tilted mechanism does not shimmy or move during transit.  Never allow any of the nuts or bolts on your new portable podium to lose contact with one another.

3)  Insert desktop, book stop facing down, into its compartment in such a manner that it is locked into place with the tripod underneath it.  Then, by hand, carefully place both zippered edges of the carry case close to each other (prior to zipping up the case) so that both sets of  teeth are ready to be zipped up with a minimum amount of strain on the fabric.  This greatly extends case/zipper life and now you're good to go!

When setting up your new podium...remember...

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! That is the worst thing you can do.  Carefully hand-tighten only without using brute force. Remember:  Use common sense!  This is intended for use only with books and papers--not to hold laptops, electronic projectors, and other audio/visual devices.
