A) Although we sell it at the exact same price, the most readily apparent difference in this new black model is the absence of holes on the desktop. Amazingly, it came as quite a shock to us that advances in metallurgy and sharp engineering have combined so swiftly that we can now offer this ''holes free'' black desktop without adding any weight to the device...Amazing!
B) The tilter on this new black model is a new version with not one, but two, lock downs on top assuring you of a secure desktop that stays where you want it to be
C) The portion of the tilter that attaches to the top of the tripod has a brand new, highly ergonomic thumb turn design that is effortless to adjust and easily secures the entire desktop to the top of the actual tripod itself.
D) The large round knob, which is the unit's most used control (since it raises and lowers the height of the unit to suit the individual user) is the exact same large round knob that is found on our most popular white steel model lightweight lectern/podium.
E) We had to keep the tradition of making sure any and all floor surfaces remain damage free while our portable lecterns and podiums are in use and, not only did we do it, but...these feet are even bigger and bolder than those found on our white model!
